DryCape is a free matching and introduction service. We connect Cape Town homeowners with independent, vetted local damp-proofing and waterproofing specialists. We are an introducer and comparison service. We are NOT a contractor, we do not carry out damp-proofing, waterproofing or any building work ourselves, and we do not employ the specialists we introduce.
If you choose to proceed after receiving a quote, your agreement for the work is solely between you and the specialist. Any contract, pricing, scope, workmanship and guarantee is agreed directly between you and them. We are not a party to that agreement.
We aim to match you with a suitable local specialist for your suburb and your job, and we apply reasonable checks. However, we do not guarantee the work, the pricing, the licensing, the insurance or the conduct of any specialist, and we make no representation or warranty about the outcome of any job. You should satisfy yourself about a specialist before engaging them, including asking for references, proof of insurance and a written guarantee.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DryCape accepts no liability for any loss, damage or dispute arising from the work, conduct, pricing or omissions of any specialist we introduce. Any workmanship guarantee is provided by the specialist you engage, not by DryCape.
Any prices and cost ranges shown on DryCape are general Cape Town market guidance for 2026 to help you compare. They are not quotes. Your actual price is whatever the specialist quotes after seeing your job.
How we handle your personal information is set out in our privacy notice. By submitting an enquiry you consent to us passing your details to one specialist so they can contact you with a quote.
